What we keep

The weekly email. Your email address and the city you picked. Nothing goes out until you confirm, and every email has a one-tap unsubscribe.

A table request. Your name, phone number, email if you give one, how many people, and what the night is for if you tell us. We use it to reply about that table. We send you the nights we pick, by email and WhatsApp, only if you ticked the box, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to stop any time.

A guest list. Your name, and your phone or Instagram, so the door can find you on the night. If you didn't ask to hear about other nights, we delete them once the night is over.

If you book with us. We keep a note of the nights you booked, whether you came and what the table spent, so we know what to suggest next time.

Who sees it

Us. The club sees what it needs to hold your table or put you on the door: names and how many people. We don't sell or rent anything, to anyone.

The services that run NIGHTDESK keep or handle it for us: the site's host, its database, the service that sends our emails, WhatsApp when we message you, and an AI writing tool that helps us draft messages (it sees your first name, your city, the clubs you've been to with us, a birthday if you told us, and our notes about you; never your number or email).

Our WhatsApp communities. If you join one, other members can't see your number. We can, as its admins. We use it only to post the week's picks, and you can leave any time.

What we count

How many people read a piece, tap a link or sign up, so we know what's worth writing. Each person counts once a day through a scrambled code: no IP addresses, no names, no ad trackers. Your phone remembers the city you picked and the piece you came from, so the next page starts in the right place.

Having it deleted

Ask any time and we'll delete what we have about you. Write to desk@nightdeskmag.com, reply to any email from us, or message us on WhatsApp.
