What NIGHTDESK is
A magazine about electronic music nights, and a way to ask for tables and tickets at some of the clubs we write about. We don't run the clubs or the nights. Each club runs its own door, its own rules and its own night.
Tables
Sending a request isn't a booking. Tables depend on what the club has left, and we'll reply with a quote. A table is yours once the club confirms it. Any deposit goes straight to the club, and its own rules decide minimums, refunds, changes and cancellations.
If a night is cancelled or changed, or something goes wrong on the night, the club handles it. We'll help where we can.
Tickets
Tickets are sold by the club or the promoter on their own ticket page, under their terms. We don't sell tickets or handle the payment.
21 and over
NIGHTDESK and the nights in it are for people 21 and over. Bring a valid photo ID: the venue checks it at the door and decides who gets in.
Picks and sponsors
Picks are our opinion, made in good faith, and line-ups and times can change. No one can buy a pick. Sponsored pieces are always marked Sponsored. How we choose, and how NIGHTDESK earns: How we pick.
Our writing and photos
The writing is ours, and each photo belongs to the photographer credited with it. Share links freely, but please don't copy pieces or photos without asking. If you send us photos you took at a night, you're letting us use them on NIGHTDESK, credited to you.
The fine print
NIGHTDESK is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for what happens at a club or a night, or for losses that come from using the site or a request, and our responsibility to you goes no further than what you paid us directly (usually nothing).
We may update these terms; the version here is the one that applies. How we handle your details is on Privacy.
